Obstacles Serve To Make Us Stronger

Barbells and dumbbells serve a purpose. Barbells and dumbbells when used intelligently and regularly serve to make us stronger. When we understand and accept the purpose of progressive weight resistance in the form of exercise, we then begin to voluntarily add heavier and heavier plates, and we become joyful every time more weight is added and used. Our problems are our spiritual barbells and dumbbells.

Problems are gifts from God. They are opportunities to become stronger.Problems, obstacles, disappointments and setbacks when we understand them and accept them as opportunities for growth, allow us to handle bigger and even better problems. Getting stronger in a personal and spiritual sense means having more faith in God. With enough faith developed over time by accepting and solving bigger and bigger problems, we develop, in spirit, an unshakable peace and power to accept and solve any challenge with the faith in and the grace of God.

A Burning Desire for Your Goal

Now I understand why intense desire for your goal is so important. Intense desire is your guarantee against discouragement which comes in the form of unexpected obstacles. By some universal law it appears that problems and obstacles must appear in your path to test your resolve in achieving that which you say you want. If you give up easily, then you didn't really want it enough, or rather your desire was weak. The stronger your desire means the stronger your resistance is to discouragement. If the cause if great enough, fear of nothing, not even of death will stop you.

To take yourself out of poverty in order to leave a legacy of prosperity for yourself and your children should be enough fuel to fire desire to make you unstoppable! Life opens its doors not to the coward but to the tough-minded spiritual warrior. Is that person you?

Faith and Good Fortune Through Staying in the Present Moment

If you can stay in the present moment, the now, you eliminate worry for you are, what mystics call, in a state of pure being. The absence of worry (through detachment) is also called faith. Faith is belief or trust in God. With faith (belief in God) all things are possible. "Take no worry for the 'morrow'"- Matthew 6:34. "Live in day tight compartments"- Dale Carnegie.

All (good) things are possible to those who believe (trust in God, detach, stay in the now). Faith, belief-in-God, detachment, staying in the peaceful now, living in day tight compartments and taking no thought for the 'morrow is to be centered in pure being; this creates within yourself a tour de force of all manner of good luck, coincidences, and the calvary coming over the hill in just the nick of time sounding its relieving bugle call to save you from your danger and desperation when only just a moment before, you thought all was lost.

The Laws of Increase (Money and All Else)

There is a law of increase. You can't keep anything as is (whatever it is). You must increase it to keep it. Nothing stands still. If you stop any progress: saving money, making money, adding new clients, learning, growing, getting better, etc., The Law of Increase states that nothing "stops" but rather goes backwards because of another corresponding law, The Law of Progress. The Law of Progress is also ever present and is part of yet another universal law, The Law of Eternal Movement. The Law of Eternal Movement states that things can only progress or retrogress. According to The Law of Eternal Movement, even retrogressing (or going backwards) is still "progress" but on the negative side of the number line. The -0- point of the number line, according to these laws, is only an imaginary transition point.

If you doubt that the Laws of Increase, Progress and Eternal Movement exist, then what happens when you stop practicing a language you have learned, or stop exercising after you have achieved your ideal weight and body figure, or stop increasing your knowledge in your given career or profession? You know the answer, "What you don't use, you lose" which is another way of saying that The Law of Eternal Movement has taken a retrogressive (or backward) direction. And sadly, unchecked, you continue to get worse and worse ad infinitum. Here's a little secret of money: to even keep the money you already have, you must continually increase it. Saving, by its very nature, means that you are increasing it by some amount and on a regular basis.

Life is an ever-opening lotus flower of infinite petals of progress.

Discovering Your Purpose Through Serving Others

I have people very frequently ask me, “Charles, but how can I find my true purpose?” If it is your purpose, once you begin to truly search, it automatically reveals itself to you.

I have at last found the easy, sure-fire answer to this all-consuming question of finding one's true purpose in life. Just look around in your immediate life right now and ask, “What is it that can do to provide the most service to others?” Let me repeat that question again, because if you can grasp its significance, you will never worry about your purpose, how to make a living nor not having enough money and prosperity ever again. “What is it that can do to provide the most service to others?” Start right here with this question, and keep looking for the perfect occupation, profession or business opportunity vehicle that will allow you to give more and greater ways of service to others using your particular training, talents, gifts and personal life experience. The purpose of everyone’s life on the planet when you think about it deeply and profoundly enough is really their answer to “How can I give more service to others with who I am, what I know, where I’ve been and where I could go.” Make you life about giving and serving others, and your true purpose will be effortlessly and obviously revealed to you. This I promise you.

How To Solve Any Problem Through Your Power of Creative Visualization

Our purpose is to find the quickest and most efficient techniques for producing happy, peaceful, joyous, healthy and prospering ideas by learning how to tap into this infinite resource of our right brain hemisphere. The key to this is a technique called creative visualization which if you practice daily for at least 21 days, you will see a marked difference in your creative ability.

For fifteen minutes before you go to bed and fifteen minutes ater you wake in the morning, I want you to prop yourself up in the bed. Turn off the TV, radio and disconnected the telephone. Make it clear to your family that you are not to be disturbed during these most important 15 minutes.

Count backwards slowly from 25 to 1, relaxing your entire body. With each retrogressive count, you will relax more and more and more. You are to now visualize yourself in your office or some other room familiar to you, and imagine that you are standing in front of and talking with an expert, living or dead, that is germane to your problem. For example, if you are an artist and you have a problem coming up with newer and more creative ideas, you would, say, imagine yourself standing in the room with Michaelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci and Raphael. If you are in need of money-making ideas that would serve you to prosper more in your present circumstance, you could see yourself in the company of three billionaires, like Bill Gates, Oprah Winfrey and Bob Johnson. If you are having relationship or marital problems, you could see yourself in the room with, Dr. David Viscott, Dale Carnegie and Dr. Laura Schlessinger. You get the idea. Just make sure that you choose three experts that you admire and would choose to be in the room in real life were that possible.

Whomever you choose to be your imaginary “mental counselor”, mentally see yourself greeting him or her, and see him or her responding in turn. This is the technique: Let us say that you have a new business idea that you are trying to develop, and you would like to know of the best way to go about and get started to license and franchise it. You would simple pose a question like, “Mr. Gates, what in your opinion, is the first thing that I should do in my present situation to get started licensing my idea?” Pay attention here for this is key. The first thought that pops into your mind is your imaginary counselor’s answer. Have a Mead® mini legal pad in your hand along with a pencil as you will write what comes to you–with your eyes closes–will the idea and answer is still fresh in your mind. (With practice, you can write pretty decently on a small note pad; it make look a little scratchy, but you usually will be able to make it out.)

In the beginning,, it will feel as though you are “making these answers up”. This is the right feeling. Three things you will find as you practice this ostensibly silly technique:

1) These imaginary answers will come faster and better each
time.

2) Ideas will pop into your head when you least expect it all
throughout the day. (So always keep you Mead® mini legal
note pad and a pen on hand in your pocket with you.)

3) When you practice this visualization just before you go to
sleep, you will increasingly have and remember dreams that
will give you rich and creative ideas. Be not surprised when
you awake at 4:00 a.m. with your head pregnant with really
great and creative ideas ready for execution.
